Giveaway: Personalised Mug

I've been looking to do a little giveaway for a while now but every time I think about buying beauty products I just think that no, that's not really what it's about. I will do beauty product giveaways in the future but I just want to send something nice to someone in the post right now so I thought I'd create something. Now, I'm not the most crafty but when I was making a few mugs for myself I thought I'd make one for you lovely lot too. It won't be perfect, I'm no illustrator and no doubt it'll have the imperfections synonymous with anything and everything I create but it will be made by me with love. You can leave it up to me to design one for you or you can choose what you want and I'll try my best to make your vision a reality.

I'm not going to do a Rafflecopter giveaway this time because I thought we'd do something a little more fun. I want you to write me a love story in 100 words or less. Be creative, think outside of the box, write two words or the full one hundred. I'll also ask you to follow me on Bloglovin here because more readers never hurts anything! Also leave your Twitter handle or email so I can contact you if you win!

So come, write and win. There'll be two winners that I'll contact by next Friday 14th February as a little extra love on Valentines day.

  1. My entry is in the form of a poem, which I hope is ok. Also wasn't sure whether to comment or email so I'm just gonna comment. (This is a lovely giveaway, by the way, and that mug in the picture is so cute!)

    Bleary eyed I cross
The path of a thousand embracing couples
Not knowing what I had lost
    Until it was gone

    Like a cup
Dashed from the lips of the drinker
    With only a taste
    Of you left behind

I have not known as I do now
    The loudness of silence
    The truth in the cliches
Which fill my mind as your words once did

  2. Love this giveaway!

    Here is my love story:

Waiting on the platform again and I couldn’t help but notice the dew glistening on the the railway tracks. There had been a light snowfall over the night and the whole platform was covered in a blanket of fluffy white. The train arrived and I climbed onboard, sat down in my usual seat next to the window. Staring at the platform, I noticed her again. She was radiant, a gleam of light that was mirrored in the snow below her feet. I had seen her every day. Tomorrow she will get on this train. And I will talk to her.

    Hope you like it.

  7. I was just gonna come and write I love you as my story, but people have written actual stories! I once wrote a love story for Valentines Day as part of a gift for my ex. I painted a mug and then wrote about Princess Dinosaur and Snake. I was so freakin' cute on my budget of £5 x

  8. This is probably gonna be cheesy or whatever but I don't really share this very often. It's my own sort of little love story!

Around Christmas time we got talking about the annoying habits of a mutual friend. He asked if I'd meet up with him one Friday, to which I agreed. Then on the Tuesday night of that same week he told me he didn't want to wait any longer, suggested we meet the next day. We walked and talked around Manchester for hours, my feet hurt and my hat kept blowing off my head. He kissed me and told me he'd never met anyone like me before. Over two years on, he's at work and I'm sat at his house writing this! And now we're looking at moving in together. I've never been happier!

I've absolutely no idea how many characters that is but I promise I made it as brief as humanly possible haha!

Your smile, your kiss is so alluring
Just one thing I am imploring
    Do something about your snoring!

  10. She sat impatiently chewing on her nails. She didn't know whether to search with her bloodshot eyes or close them expectantly. The one thing she did know was that this was a moment she had been longing for now for months. The train was pulling into Euston station. She stood up on shaky legs, almost not trusting her own strength. She looked through the crowds with tears falling down her face. He was there. She didn't need her feet to hold her up any longer, she had him. Home.
