Wonderful Purchases

This afternoon my best friend and I went out for coffee armed with a few notes in our purses to do a little damage. I may well be a shopping addict because the high it gives me buying beautiful things is comparable to nothing else in my life. I feel like these things were made especially for me and a sale? I can't resist a sale. So with a warm glow from a rather large vanilla spice latte we set off and this is what I've ended up with.

The necklace was an instant hit with me and at only seven pounds in the sale I was sold. It's gorgeous, huge, layered with gold chains and such a statement piece from New Look that would look amazing against cream, white or black. I'm so in love with it and I'm already planning outfits for it to debut with for day and evening wear. From there we headed to Boots where I finally found my beloved holy grail concealer Collection's Lasting Perfection in 'fair' however the packaging is slightly different and I was told they've reformulated so I'm a bit upset that it may not be as brilliant as the original and I've completely run out. I also needed a new body scrub and after using almost all of my Soap & Glory's Breakfast Scrub so naturally I headed straight to them where I smelled this beauty. The Sugar Crush scrub has the sweetest, freshest lime scent and I can't wait to use it as in all honesty I was a little sick of smelling like pancakes.

The other little bits? Well, I'm besotted. The organiser is perfect for blogging with sections for weekly planning, clear pockets to hold notes and receipts, contacts, to-do lists etc and is only £2! I had to pick up the notebook in the range which comes with gorgeous illustrations and a Paris theme. Also, the pen because obviously it had to be themed. All of these are from Wilkinson and all three cost me less than £3 which is such a bargain. The coasters come in a pack of four for £2 too and look perfect in my recently re-decorated living room.

To finish it off, if you're looking for a new coconut and vanilla scented candle pop to Primark and pick up this baby for only £2. It's my absolute favourite clean yet sweet scent that really lingers. Highly, highly recommended. Plus, Company magazine, of course.

What have you been purchasing recently?

  1. I've recently just bought a load of notebooks to get organised and they all match, bonus. The necklace is so gorgeous and the candle, I wouldn't of expected it to be from Primark!

  5. Primark candles are the best! Such a surprise winner. I've had a Pina Colada one on my desk since the beginning of the Summer and it's still going strong and has a better fragrance pay off than a lot of well known candleish brands.
