Pink Hair, Don't Care

While going through any major change in my life I tend to go a bit mad with my hair going from black to platinum blonde in eight hours after major issues have transpired (don't do that - no, really...don't. It was fine but felt like straw. Just, please don't). Nowadays I'm trying to get my natural medium brown hair into better condition to grow out past my shoulders so I go a little crazy with wigs instead. I own around 25 wigs at present but I've had many many more that just became too matted and tatty to wear which is just something that happens after a while.

This long white/grey wig is from Geisha Wigs and is aptly named Snowslide and I love it. I've worn it a few times but coming into Spring I wanted to change it up so instead of cutting it as I had planned I used pink spray and ended up with pink hair. Normal dye won't work on these wigs as they're synthetic but the spray I used was Superdrug's own brand pink wash out for under £2 and this is the result after the rain caught me with minimal run on my clothes (it didn't stain as it was darker clothing but I'd definitely recommend darker clothing if you're planning on doing this).

I love the combination of grey and pink together - what do you think?

  1. This looks beautiful! I was always tempted to buy a wig or two to change up my hair. As much as I love my pixie crop, sometimes I miss having long hair to swish about.

    1. Thank you! I wasn't sure if it would but I think it works nicely with pale skin.

  5. The pink ends are awesome! I went PINK for like a week but I didn't care for it so much on my whole head, way too intense and grew out soooo fast and faded badly too! Glad to see you doing the PINK thing so well! I love it on the ends! <3

    1. I went bright pink all over last year but I found it was too intense also. The ends are a good compromise!
