Sleek True Colour lipstick in Russian Roulette - £4.99 from Superdrug
I've been on the hunt for a new perfect red. I own the usual suspects such as MAC Ruby Woo, Russian Red, Diva and Rimmel Kate Moss in 107 but I wanted something new because you just can't beat a new lipstick. I ended up at a Sleek stand and their Russian Red caught my eye and after I swatched it, while I was slightly unsure if it was perfect I headed to the self checkout and popped it in my bag. After all, £4.99 is a steal, right?
It is very similar to a few MAC offerings being completely matte (but you can still rub your lips together unlike with Ruby Woo so points to Sleek there) and a slightly darker offering than a true red but it's beautiful. It applies well and not at all patchy even though my lips aren't in prime condition. How does it wear?
That's after four hours of eating, drinking and smoking. Some slight feathering around the edges (no lipliner) but it's barely clung to the many dry patches of my lips and the colour is almost as fresh as applied apart from minimal fading that faded pretty evenly and I find that 107 fades pretty patchy in comparison. I'm so pleased with this that I'm going back next week to purchase the other colours (I have my eye on Mulberry, a really deep purple brown).

That is so good, four hours wear for £4.99! I'm too scared to wear red lipstick while I'm brown as it doesn't go, but going back to blonde soon and will deffos look into this :) xx
