The Addams Family

So while there are no full length photos quite yet this is an outfit post and it's what I wore for a coffee date with my best friend. Naturally, I was rained on and covered in red labrador fur but that's essentially my life long state - just a little dishevelled and never quite perfect. My hair was freshly washed, the old ombre is coming back through with every wash and I looked a little like Hermione Granger so I tried a really messy braided up-do with matte red lips. I think it turned out quite decently.

So the outfit itself is really simple - a cream shirt with silver cross adorned collar clips, a black 60's style shift dress over the top with black flats, black 200 denier tights and a simple cardigan. I didn't want anything too fussy but as it turned out the tight were too big in the waist and halfway down my bum whenever I walked so I couldn't wait to get home and switch to leggings!

What do you think? More labrador hair covered outfit posts?

  1. I'm always covered in my labrador despite using one of those sticky rollers. Love your hair like this, might try it on the weekend :) xx

    1. It's so simple and took me about two minutes for the entire thing so it's definitely a recommended style :)

  3. Me too! I never buy coats with hoods either because I'm a bit ditsy!

  4. Oh god, I hate the saggy bum in tights. I wear tights under my shorts in work and I'm forever pulling them up! It's such a pain!x

  5. You look gorgeous! love the collar clips! I'm craving winter style right now. I'm in denim mini shorts and a singlet and still boiling my pants off! xx
