On my mission to improve my dry skin I've been testing out this aromatherapy face pack by NATIO. NATIO are a brand I'd heard of but never bothered to try anything from because I would always go to my trusty Liz Earle or Origins but I'm pleasantly surprised on my first try. This pack was purchased from Tesco and as NATIO are an Australian brand and there are quite limited stockists here in the UK limited to Debenhams and Tesco. I quite like the clear front bag as it keeps everything together and is great for travelling but the products inside are the real stars.
Clay & Plant Face Mask Purifier
I thought I'd give this a go with one of my Sunday night pampering sessions so after cleansing and exfoliating I squired a little out on to the back of my hand and the consistently took me by surprise. It's quite runny and wet compared to what I would normally associate with clay masks to be a slightly thicker product. It smells divine - very natural and relaxing - and after applying a thin layer to my face I relaxed for fifteen minutes. By the end it was tight on my skin and dry so washing it off was quite the pleasure. I was thoroughly pleased with the immediate results of soft plumped up skin that smelled faintly of the product but not overpoweringly and left my skin feeling hydrated rather than stripped. I now use this twice a week alongside my regular skincare and while I've seen no major improvement to my skin it's great as a quick fix.
Intensive Moisturising Day Cream
This has become my new favourite. With a similar scent to the face mask it's a very hydrating, rich cream. I was afraid it may be too heavy but it was perfect and sunk in within ten minutes leaving a great base for my foundation primer to sink into. I love that it is rich and feels nourishing but if you have oily skin I don't think I'd recommend such an intense day cream.
Gentle Cleansing Wipes
Oh God, these smell good. I'm not a fan of using wipes regularly so I've used two and I'm now keeping the rest for travelling when I'll need them most. I'm not opposed to the ingredients in these wipes at all as they feel lovely against the skin, take off make up decently and don't dry my skin out but I love the process of my skincare routine. It's not very good for your skin to constantly use wipes, of course but still, these are decent if you were a serial wipe abuser.
All in all this is very good value for money and I'll definitely be repurchasing the mask and day cream when I begin to run out.
These sound wonderful...never heard of them before, will have to have a try xx
ReplyDeleteDefinitely do. I'm a bit wary trying new brands but sometimes I stumble upon good surprises like these!
