I've been posting wishlists for a while but I suddenly had the inspiration last night to post a complete seasonal wishlist from clothes to accessories to make-up and to make it more of a mood board of things I'm loving rather than things I have bought/will buy as I have a lot of the things here already and they're some of my favourites.
In clothes I'm loving... black and berry tones. Not a huge surprise but I am always excited when these colours come back into the shops because they suit me so well, can work easily from day to evening and even if you're going for a casual look it always seem a lot more dressed up. I don't own a pair of brogues now thanks to my darling dogs but these are on sale so I'm going to treat myself next week and while I don't think I can justify another pair of chunky heeled boots I am loving these. I think the dresses would work so well with leggings or opaque tights, broken up with a contrasting colour or texture skater skirt over the top and dressed up or down with cardigans and blazers so I think that's a pretty justifiable reason to buy them both, don't you? Plus, they have sleeves and if you hate your arms as much as I do that is miraculous.
In accessories I'm loving... black bags and accessories galore. I'm not one to over accessorize but I've been drawn to huge necklaces and hats (especially large felt hats and fedoras). It's an androgynous look but with dresses and cute shoes it works so well so I just can't leave them alone. I fell for these shoes a few months ago and I'm thinking I'm so far off the bandwagon I'll have to project myself from a canon to get there but get there I will. How cute will these heart printed tights look with the fedora chunky heeled lace up boots, skinny jeans, the heart print blouse and a blazer? Very cute, damn it.
In make up I'm loving... everything. No, really - everything. I just purchased the new retro matte purple shade from Rihanna's latest collection for MAC called 'Talk That Talk' which I am wearing with everything and when I'm not I'm wearing Rimmel Kate Moss matte 107 or Rimmel Apocalips in Eclipse (the same shade only Apocalips is a lip laquer rather than a matte). My skin needs to be matte and perfect with strong lips so I always opt for my beloved Double Wear and add contouring in with the Bourjois chocolate bronzer. My Naked palette is everything to me so much so that this is my second one so that's literally the only eyeshadow I'm using right now and of course, who can forget a lip balm? Not just for the cold weather but for the beautiful matte lipsticks that have to sit on top of a prepped base? Korres is one of my favourite brands for skincare and this lip balm is no exception.
