Illamasqua under eye concealer in 320 - £13 here
I love to contour as my face without it looks like a potato. I'm pale and apart from a prominent chin I don't have much shape to my face and no definition in the cheekbones at all so I'm always in search of products to give the illusion of lift, colour and shape. I often find the designated contours are too dark or orange for my skin, bronzers are too shimmery or chalky and creams the wrong shade so I make do with what I have and hope that there's something out there for me.
My best friend popped around a few days ago and handed me this Illamasqua concealer. She'd bought it a few months ago but it was too dark for her to use and asked if I could make use of it. One swatch and I realised it was what I'd been looking for. The perfect non-orange shade, without shimmer and with a consistency I could definitely work with - what else could I need? A brush would be a good starting point.
I apply this with my Real Techniques contour brush and if it's a little harsh I'll dab some Rimmel Stay Matte powder in Translucent over the top with the Real Techniques buffing brush which makes it completely matte, gives it more staying power and tones the colour down just a little which is all I need. As you can see from the swatch it's really great for pale skin as it's not too much.
Illamasqua usually have sales and you can pick these babies up for about £5 but if you want it now and can't wait you can find the link under the image.
This sounds really promising, I've given up on wearing lots of makeup lately but when I do (occasions etc.) contouring is a MUST x
