Betrousse Beauty Box

A few weeks ago I was sent a beauty box by a brand I'd not heard of before, Betrousse. I wanted to give all of the products a thorough test before I reviewed it as I've seen so many beauty boxes and received a few I've not been happy with. First impressions were that this box isn't the best I had ever seen but it was packaged beautifully (I'm a huge fan of the black and pink colour scheme). Let's see what was inside, shall we?

Make Believe Beauty Shimmer Lip Gloss - RRP £10 here
I'm not a huge fan of lip gloss preferring it's more opaque and matte sister lipstick but I gave this a shot and I was quite surprised at how much I love the look of it over a nude lipstick. It's a very nude colour but not so pale that it looks like glossy foundation lips, sticky but not too bad and no horrible separating or residue. I'll be making good use of this.

JĀSÖN Normalising shampoo in Rosewater and Chammomile - RRP £7.29 here
I'm a big fan of how clean this left my hair. The blurb reads that "cleanses hair with natural, gentle surfactants whilst balancing the pH levels of the scalp with Rosewater and Chamomile. This shampoo creates a rich lather, removes residue and build-up without stripping or drying hair" which I very much agree with. My hair is very dry regardless and this helped with moisture. It's definitely not a miracle product and doesn't replace my deep conditioning treatments but it works very well alongside them.

BENTA BERRY G-1 exfoliating Facial exfoliaor for boys and girls - Regulating line - RRP £14.00 here
Another product I really love and will use up. This leaves my skin feeling cleansed and soft without irritation and without any residue. It's worked it's way into my daily routine and pushed out Liz Earle for the time being. I will repurchase but I'll use it in rotation with my other tried and tested exfoliators and cleansers.

FAIR NATURALLY Mango & Safflower Body Moisturiser - RRP £3.99 here
This body moisturiser is the star of the box for me and coming in at a mere £3.99 it's a definite repurchase. It smells exactly as you think it would from the scent description, is nourishing, non-oily and the scent lingers and layers so well with my favourite perfumes. While it's light and fruity it's also very energising and is brilliant to pop on after a morning shower.

I really like Betrousse's beauty boxes and I'm going to purchase another as a Christmas gift for a family member as I feel they'd love this too but I don't think it's the best box on the market just yet.
