Well, it's not really birthday time as my birthday isn't until November 23rd (which is the day of the 50th anniversary of Doctor Who though so yay for that!) Alas, I thought I'd show you a few months in advance what I'm craving for my birthday so everyone has time to save. Trust me, I'll need everyone to pay for these babies. This is a definite lust list but I'm not expecting anything from this list unless I buy it myself so all of my real life friends out there, buy me nothing or if you must, grab me a Starbucks. An egg nog latte on a cold day is a gift in itself!
So let me talk you through my wonder list.
First up we've got my coveted Zara City. I purchased one of these months ago and it got stolen. I did get very upset about it but since I'd purchased it two days before I actually told nobody it had been stolen so if this is all news to you this is why I had to get everything replaced in my purse!
Moving across to the Q&A book which I saw on lots of people's blogs back in January but never purchased as it was always out of stock. Rejoice time for me as they're back in stock and this would see me right through until I'm 30 so that'd be quite nice to wrap those five years up!
The flowers are there because I just like to get flowers. It doesn't have to be my birthday and sometimes I buy them for myself but still, flowers.
Up there is MAC's Heroine which I've been coveting and needing for a while now and I'm hoping someone can source me one in a blog sale or online for less than £35 sometime very soon.
Down a little is a pair of Beats but to be honest any decent sound quality headphones will do. I have a night time ritual of watching YouTube videos and then listening to piano instrumentals before I go to sleep and since I'm awkward ear buds just hurt. I'd love a pair of headphones I can comfortably lean on without damaging my obviously rather sensitive inner ears.
Over again to the other MAC lipstick with you may recognise as my be all and end all purple, Rebel. Since I wear this so often it would just be brilliant to have a spare tube handy for when the other inevitably falls victim to the dreaded lip brush.
A MacBook because my 2007 model has died. Now, I don't want the latest top speed thinner than a Ryvita model but I do want my Mac back and so a 2008/9 model would be perfect. Sadly they're still retailing second hand for £350-400 and right now that is completely unjustifiable but one day hopefully soon I'll grab another back into my life.
The Elie Saab perfume is a relatively new lust but one I desperately need. I don't own a lot of perfume but I have tried many and so when I sniffed this at a perfume counter in House of Fraser I fell in love. It's quite a mature, musky scent but I just fell head over heels for it and I will not settle for the EDT as the scent seems to change as it gets lighter. I want to wear this on my wedding day and it would be for strictly special occasion wear but I still think I'd get a lot from an expensive bottle with my birthday, Christmas, New Year and so on and so forth.
The Canon EOS 600D is a pipe dream at £400+ but for now it shall stay here so I can stare at it hoping it'll materialise off the screen with no damage to my minimal account balance.
And finally, the bag I've been loving. The Michael Kors Selma in hot pink. I know there are dupes of this winged style but I can't find any dupes of the gold hardware and perfect hot pink colour. At £240 it's not too pricey but still out of anyone I know's budget in 2013 and so I can only hope that Primark or Zara come up with an absolute corker of a dupe or that I win it big on the lottery in which case I'll also take the beige.
I love this Elie Saab perfume [I think it's their only one too!], I got a gazillion samples of it and can't wait my birthday to get a huge bottle! :)

That Pink MK bag is divine!
ReplyDeleteThe Q&A book is such a lovely idea! Definitely adding it to my Birthday wish list. Please do a post if you do manage to find a dupe of the Selma! It's gorgeous but so expensive :-(
