Each week I've been making a few small purchases toward prettying up my home and adding to Christmas. Yes, I said Christmas but that's a whole other post (that will be coming very soon). This week I ended up in Primark and Store Twenty One. Now, I'm a menace when it comes to these shops. Once I walk through the door I get a bad case of the loon and end up buying too much but I rarely ever regret a purchase.
So in Store Twenty One I picked up three wicker baskets with cream linen lining. I'll be using the medium sized for storage and the large and small as two Christmas hampers that I plan to put together for my best friend and her husband. Every year all of her gifts I've accumulated end up wrapped in a large gift bag which is usually over filled but this year I got organised and thought a re-usable wicker basket would be much more chic. The hanging bottles were reduced to £1 each so naturally I bought four. I plan to fill them with baby's breath and I'll probably remove the stickers on the front but they'd just look gorgeous hung up on my banister which I plan to try out this week. The pink scuffed up vase is a favourite and for £2 I couldn't resist as I think it would look wonderful in my office to hold some flowers on the desk and I may even pop back soon to see if they have more. I'm pretty sure the lavender scented candle is too pretty to light but for 50p, again, I couldn't resist and as for the Lagerfeld pug tote? £1! Champagne and Elderflower tea lights to dot around the house for a mere £1 were the final item to hit my bag in Primark and they're seriously beautiful. Primark, you lure me in to have me leaving with far too much.
Cute buys :)

You've picked up some really lovely finds, and all for great prices! I plan on starting my Christmas shopping this month so I don't have to worry about it closer to Xmas.

I love home type posts! The wicker baskets would be great for me in Uni. I never think to look in Primark for bits and bobs like this either, thanks for the heads up. :)
